Birthday Suit

Billy had a birthday

He wasn't three, he wasn't 30

Billy was turning eight

Eight candles on his cake

And Billy was already late

Do you know the reason why?

Mom and Dad said: 'Wear a tie!’

Billy was turning eight

Eight candles on his cake

He couldn't party

Do you know why?

Billy would not wear a tie

Billy heard music, friends, and games

He saw wax melting on his namesake cake

But the answer was the same:

'Billy. No. You know why.

Go put on your fancy tie!'

Billy was turning eight

Billy was almost too late

'Fine,' said Billy and up he went.

His opposition wasn't spent,

Billy took off all his clothes

He tied the tie under his nose

He came down naked except for that tie

He said: 'Hey guys, I'll tell you why

I call this my birthday suit.

Now let's party, there's no excuse.'
