The trampoline

My friend has a giant trampoline

I bounce in and out of the scene

I come to laugh, I come to fly

But she's the real reason why

My brain is a busy trampoline

Ideas bounce in and out of the scene

Some are heavy, some are light

Some ricochet, some fight

My heart is a tender trampoline

Love bounces all over the scene

Big or small, it always lifts

Soaring love is the greatest gift
